Bringing young players through the ranks has been the lifeblood of Luton Town for many years. Supporters of Luton Youth Development (SoLYD) has been set up to help ensure this rich tradition continues.
With the backing of Luton legend, Kingsley Black, SoLYD will raise funds for the specific and exclusive use of the Youth Development department at the club. In the short term SoLYD will aim to make up the funding shortfall caused by the club dropping out of the Football League. The longer term aim is to secure land to build a training complex for the club's young players.
After an approach from the Youth Development department, volunteers from each of the club's three supporter groups, have agreed to help manage the project. They will need your backing to achieve SoLYD's aims.
