To play in the Kenilworth Cup, all you need to do is purchase a minimum of 2 tickets (£5 each, all proceeds to SoLYD), from the head coach at your training centre. Each ticket will give admission to a parent, family member or friend to come and watch you play.

The tournament is seven-a-side, and there will be a maximum of eight players in a squad. Every squad will play four matches, giving every player forty five minutes of football. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

For the parents, supporters and staff tournament entry will cost £20 per player. You can enter as an individual and get allocated to a team, or why not get a group of friends together to play. There is no maximum number of players in a squad. Every team is guaranteed six games, and over an hour of football!

SoLYD Presentation

Following the Football League's unexpected withdrawal of another £10,000 worth of funding for youth development at Luton Town - and the rejection of the club's appeal against the decision - SoLYD has stepped in quickly with an offer to raise that sum. It's a vital move, as these funds go towards the employment of two key members of the club's youth development support staff - and will ensure that these members of staff continue in their current roles. The cheque for the full amount was handed over to the Chairman of Luton Town - Nick Owen, during a presentation at half time in the win over Oxford.

This event has highlighted what a key role SoLYD - Supporters of Luton Youth Development - has to play in ensuring the future of the Youth Development Team. This, in turn, is a key factor for the success of the whole club.  SoLYD appeal to all Luton fans and supporters to donate to this cause and help us raise the money. Every little bit helps SoLYD to continue supporting the Luton Town players of the future.
