£5759.83 has been raised so far for SoLYD and the Luton Food Bank by local band UK Decay's single Wonderful Town

Jim from the band told us:

"To date over 850 physical copies and over 1000 downloads have been sold to Hatters and Decay fans throughout the UK and Ireland and Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain and the USA.

The Hatters Hatters video has had over 12,000 views on the Club's You Tube channel.

The release attracted local, regional and national radio, press and TV interest, including features on Diverse FM, 3CR, Anglia news, 5 Live and The Luton News and the Daily Telegraph.

There is still remaining stock for sale in the Luton Town FC club shop in the Mall or in Kenilworth Road. The EP is still available for download on I tunes and check out www.ukdecay.co.uk for very limited edition t shirts, hand pressed orange vinyl singles and screen prints.

The band are overwhelmed and grateful for the support from Hatters and UK Decay fans, and townsfolk and we hope to reach our target of £7000"

Its a fantastic effort by the band and everyone that has bought or downloaded the single, bought t-shirts or vinyls and everything else that has helped raise this amazing amount...

Thank you!

SoLYD and Hatters Talk Unite!

SoLYD and Hatters Talk are delighted to announce that they will be working in collaboration to raise funds for Luton Town’s Youth Development Department.

Thanks to the generosity of Luton fans, SoLYD has already raised over £75,000 during the last 6 seasons. We are delighted that Hatters Talk will be working with us in the future and in particular helping us with future fund raising and events.

Hatters Talk has established itself as a positive forum for bringing like minded Hatters fans together. It has also already been successful in arranging social events to raise funds for SoLYD.

"I am extremely happy to have Hatters Talk be a part of this important fundraising partnership. As we grow as a group the opportunities to help the youth department funding at Luton Town have grown too and we are very pleased to be working in partnership with SoLYD to raise even more. Our events are becoming more popular all the time and through our group and its fantastic membership we will continue to support our Club and its vital Youth Development Department"

Stuart Hoare, Chair, Hatters Talk

SoLYD and Hatters Talk are both fan run organisations and both are excited at the prospect of working together to help the Youth Development Department continue the Club’s great tradition of developing young talent.

SoLYD Gold

It’s SoLYD Gold!

Thanks to all you Hatters fans for your great suggestions for a name for the SoLYD

We are delighted to announce that the new fundraising pint will be called

SoLYD Gold. It’s a fundraiser for SoLYD and let’s be honest how else could

we describe this season, the players and management other than pure gold?

Three different Hatters fans all suggested the name so congratulations to

Steve Bailey, Tim Davis & Peter Langdon. All three will be invited as special guests to

the launch of SoLYD Gold on 17-April.

Look out for full details of the launch event very shortly.

Cheers & COYH!

Like beer? Want to raise money for SoLYD? Like to pull a pint with John Still?

Like beer? Want to raise money for SoLYD? Like to pull a pint with John Still?

We’re giving you the chance to combine all three! SoLYD will be launching a real ale next month and for every pint sold, lovely local brewers, Banks & Taylor will donate 15p to SoLYD.

Before everyone can start enjoying the new B&T blonde bitter, we need a name for the beer and we’d like your help.

Send us your idea for a name for the ale and you could be the lucky winner who ends up pulling the first pint at the launch event on 17-April with Luton Town’s very own John Still. We’ll be releasing details of the launch event very soon.

In the meantime send us your ideas whether they commemorate your favourite player, pay homage to our marvellous manager or give a shout out to SoLYD. We look forward to reading them all and choosing the best one for SoLYD’s new fundraising beer.

Email your great ideas for the beer name to : This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it before close of play on 26-March. Cheers!

Bring Me Sunshine (Here Come The Hatters)

As a band that has always been proud of the fact that we come from Luton and as long time fans of Luton Town FC (Ed was a programme seller in 1985) we felt it was time we shouted about it. So, we visited our good friend Justin Saban at Latent Lemon Audio and, with the help of some of our fellow LTFC fans, we recorded a song in celebration of our favourite team and the fact that they just can't stop scoring.

The result is Bring Me Sunshine (Here Come The Hatters) and it is now available to buy as a high quality MP3 (320 Kbps) directly from our website for the small sum of £2.  http://www.bowfinger.net/

We are going to donate 100% of the profit from sales to a worthy and very important organisation – Supporters of Luton Youth Development (SoLYD) which raises funds for Luton Town’s youth development department.

We hope that the fans get behind it and help us raise some cash for the future stars of LTFC. See you on the terraces.

As a bonus we are also bundling Bring Me Sunshine (Here Come The Hatters) with another new track – It Comes With A Bang. Both songs are steeped in the fine Bowfinger tradition of plenty of guitars, the spirit of 1978, masses of tune and a chorus you can sing in the shower (or the terraces). You can hear a snippet of both songs over on the left...
